Cornwall celebrates success

Clubs from across Cornwall met at St Austell Brewery on Friday 28th April to recognise a successful season, which saw four of them win their leagues in the English Clubs Championship.

Success in the Papa John's Men's Community Cup meant neither St Austell (champions of Regional 2 Tribute South West) and St Ives (Counties 2 Tribute Cornwall) were able to attend as they had travelled east to prepare for their semi finals the following day.

However Perranporth were there to collect their award for Counties 3 Cornwall.

Falmouth were presented with the You've earned it award after persevering throughout their league programme despite losing all 22 games.  They did enjoy late season success by reaching the semi finals of the Papa John's Cup.

The South West is again grateful to sponsors St Austell Brewery for hosting the evening and their continued support of rugby in the South West.
